Job Description
Onfon Microfinance is looking for four (4) committed and results-oriented Debt Collectors to join its team.
The successful candidates will be responsible for following up on overdue accounts and ensuring the timely recovery of outstanding payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact customers with overdue payments through phone calls and field visits.
- Follow up with customers and negotiate payment arrangements.
- Recover outstanding debts in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of collections and customer interactions.
- Prepare daily and weekly collection reports.
- Work closely with the finance and credit teams.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- A minimum of a diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Previous experience in debt collection or customer service is an added advantage.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
- Honesty, discipline, and a results-driven attitude.
- Fluency in Kiswahili. Proficiency in English is an added advantage.
