Job Summary
The In Gate & Out Gate Officer will support the implementation of Dangote Industries Limited’s logistics policies and processes by participating in the planning and coordination of the movement of cement products and materials between the plant and approved destinations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring truck movements, maintaining accurate records, supporting the dispatch process, and ensuring that logistics activities comply with the company’s operational, health, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The In Gate & Out Gate Officer will be responsible for the following duties:
- Dispatch all trucks through the SAP system before allowing them to leave the plant.
- Verify all drivers through the biometric system before dispatch.
- Receive and maintain accurate details of dispatched trucks in the relevant register.
- Ensure registered ATCs are dispatched to the weighbridge in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing trucks, including product quantities, arrival and departure times, driver names, and other relevant information.
- Ensure all plant logistics activities comply with Dangote Industries Limited’s Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
- Coordinate the efficient and timely loading of customers’ trucks with purchased products on a First-In, First-Out (FIFO) basis.
- Prepare and submit reports on logistics activities at the plant and provide recommendations where necessary.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Head of Transport.
Qualifications and Experience

- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in logistics management.
