1. Alternative Delivery Channel Officer
Reports to: Head – Alternate Channel and Digital Transformation
Purpose of the job
The Alternative Delivery Channel Officer will assist the Assistant Manager in growing and supporting the bank’s Merchant Acquiring business through POS channels and other assigned digital banking products. The role is responsible for promoting the bank’s acquiring business, identifying potential merchants, driving merchant acquisition through branches and sales teams, and supporting business growth through effective relationship management.
Key responsibilities
Merchant acquisition and customer portfolio management
- Create new sales and revenue-generating opportunities.
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to ensure clients achieve their business objectives while maximizing payment portfolio performance.
- Develop partnerships and campaigns with merchants within the assigned portfolio and territory to increase revenue and brand visibility.
- Prepare proposals and high-impact sales presentations.
- Negotiate contractual agreements with new and existing merchants.
Customer retention
- Manage customer queries for merchants within the assigned portfolio.
- Organize partnership marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and business growth.
- Expand existing merchant relationships by promoting both traditional banking products and digital services through Relationship Managers where required.
- Manage active and inactive merchants to improve profitability.
- Ensure proper allocation and recovery of POS devices.
Team and internal collaboration
- Serve as the customer’s advocate while collaborating effectively with internal cross-functional teams.
Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports.
- Develop analytical and strategic weekly NTB (New-to-Bank) reports to monitor business performance.
- Prepare competitor intelligence reports covering products and pricing.
- Maintain updated merchant databases and POS verification records.
Qualifications and experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business, Banking, or a related field.

2. Relationship Manager

Job purpose
Drive asset, liability, and profitability growth within the Commercial Banking portfolio by acquiring new commercial clients, offering tailored financial solutions, and managing credit risk to minimize NPLs.
Key responsibilities
Client acquisition and growth
Identify and onboard high-value commercial clients to expand the bank’s portfolio within the region.
Target achievement
Drive revenue, asset growth, and cost-effective liability acquisition through:
- Lending
- Trade finance
- Deposits
- Cash management
Relationship management
Build and maintain long-term corporate relationships through frequent site visits and structured engagement.
Portfolio and risk monitoring
Track portfolio performance to ensure high asset quality, manage operational risks, and maintain regulatory compliance, including:
- KYC
- AML
- CTF
Requirements and qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
A Master’s degree, CFA, ACCA, or CPA is an added advantage.
Experience
Three to five years of proven relationship management experience in commercial or corporate banking.
Core competencies
- Strong credit analysis and financial statement evaluation.
- In-depth knowledge of trade finance, working capital, and cash management.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

3. Relationship Officer
Department: Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB)
Reports to: Senior Manager, Large Corporate
Purpose of the job
The Relationship Officer supports the effective management of the corporate credit portfolio by maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer and facility information, monitoring compliance with approved facility terms, and ensuring adherence to KYC, AML, regulatory, and security documentation requirements.
The role contributes to strong risk management, operational discipline, and high-quality customer service in line with the Bank’s standards and business objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare initial credit requests by assessing financial statements, cash flows, repayment capacity, business performance, and other relevant credit information for corporate clients.
- Prepare credit applications for renewals, amendments, and new facility proposals in line with the Bank’s credit policy under the guidance of the Assistant Relationship Manager.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial and non-financial information for assigned corporate loan accounts, including covenant tracking, facility spreads, repayment schedules, and periodic reporting requirements.
- Monitor customer and facility compliance with approved terms and conditions, escalating exceptions, breaches, or overdue documentation for corrective action.
- Ensure full compliance with KYC, AML, sanctions screening, and other regulatory requirements by maintaining complete customer records and supporting timely remediation of compliance gaps.
- Conduct periodic and annual reviews of security documentation for corporate accounts to confirm completeness, validity, and alignment with approved facility structures.
- Support Relationship Managers in portfolio administration, client follow-ups, document collection, and resolution of customer service matters.
- Prepare, update, and maintain portfolio reports, call notes, compliance trackers, and other records required for effective relationship and credit monitoring.
- Coordinate with Credit, Legal, Operations, Trade Finance, Risk, Compliance, and other internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of portfolio-related activities.
- Deliver customer service in line with the Bank’s mission, values, and service standards.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor in line with the role’s purpose and departmental objectives.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- One to two years of relevant experience in relationship management support, credit administration, portfolio monitoring, or corporate banking operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Key competencies
- Good understanding of banking policies, credit processes, portfolio administration, regulatory requirements, and compliance frameworks, including KYC and AML.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to maintain accurate records while monitoring facility conditions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with customers, Relationship Managers, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively, manage priorities, and contribute to a customer-focused and risk-aware team environment.
