Applications are open for the Social Business Design Competition 2026. YY Ventures and Yunus Centre introduces the Social Business Design Competition and the Social Fiction Design Competition to nurture social innovation and entrepreneurship among the next generation of young talent. Their mission is to create a world of three zeros; zero net carbon emission, zero wealth concentration for ending poverty, and zero unemployment by unleashing entrepreneurship in all.
The Social Business Design Competition invites innovators, problem-solvers, and aspiring entrepreneurs from all over the world to design impactful solutions that address pressing social and environmental challenges. This is a global platform encouraging Social Business to build a world we want to live in, a world free of social and environmental injustices that plague our communities.
Benefits
- Winners will receive USD $10,000 to support the implementation of their Social Business idea. The funds may be used for activities such as prototyping, pilot implementation, market testing, product or service development, and early-stage operations. The objective is to enable winners to take meaningful steps toward bringing their idea to life and creating real-world impact.
