{"id":832,"date":"2026-01-24T15:34:23","date_gmt":"2026-01-24T15:34:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mwanampotevu.co.tz\/?p=832"},"modified":"2026-01-24T15:34:23","modified_gmt":"2026-01-24T15:34:23","slug":"direct-sales-staff-fixed-term-3-years-200-positions-at-nmb-bank-plc-january-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mwanampotevu.co.tz\/index.php\/2026\/01\/24\/direct-sales-staff-fixed-term-3-years-200-positions-at-nmb-bank-plc-january-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Direct Sales Staff ( Fixed Term \u2013 3 Years ) (200 Position(s)) at NMB Bank Plc January 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Direct Sales Staff ( Fixed Term \u2013 3 Years ) (200 Position(s)) at NMB Bank Plc<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Direct Sales Staff ( Fixed Term \u2013 3 Years ) (200 Position(s))<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Purpose:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To drive retail and merchant sales objectives of the bank through proactive customer and merchant acquisition, selling bank accounts, merchant acquiring solutions (QR codes and POS devices) and salaried workers\u2019 loans, while deepening customer relationships and maintaining operational excellence in line with bank service standards.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location \u2013 Dar es Salaam Zone, Highlands Zone, Southern Zone, Central Zone, Western Zone, Northern Zone, Lake Zone &amp; Zanzibar Cluster<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Acquire new individual customers and merchants through appointments, referrals and door-to-door canvassing within the assigned branch territory.<\/li>\n<li>Open bank accounts for new customers and ensure collection and submission of account opening fees to branches.<\/li>\n<li>Onboard merchants onto QR code payment solutions and drive activation and usage.<\/li>\n<li>Sell and support Merchant POS devices to SMEs and retail merchants, ensuring active transaction volumes.<\/li>\n<li>Market and sell salaried workers\u2019 loans to eligible customers, including payroll-linked and parastatals penetration.<\/li>\n<li>Register customers on NMB Mkononi and educate them on self-service digital banking channels.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all accounts, merchants, and loan applications meet KYC, credit and compliance requirements as per bank policies.<\/li>\n<li>Meet or exceed assigned weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets for accounts, merchant solutions and loans.<\/li>\n<li>Generate leads, upsell, and cross-sell bank products including deposits, payments, and lending solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in sales campaigns, special projects and promotional events.<\/li>\n<li>Build repeat business through continuous relationship management with customers and merchants.<\/li>\n<li>Provide market intelligence to management on customer needs, competitor activity, and pricing opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure proper safeguarding and use of working tools and marketing materials.<\/li>\n<li>Continuously enhance product knowledge and sales presentation skills while avoiding miss-selling.<\/li>\n<li>Perform any other duties as assigned by management.<strong>Knowledge and Skills<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Proven direct sales and field sales capability.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of retail banking products, merchant acquiring (QR &amp; POS) and retail lending products.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to sell to individuals salaried employees<\/li>\n<li>Strong customer relationship management and consultative selling skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work outside banking halls with exposure to varying environmental conditions.<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility to work extended and non-standard hours.<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and compliance discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in basic computer applications (Word and Excel).<strong>Qualifications and Experience<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Banking, Insurance &amp; Risk Management, Marketing or related fields.<\/li>\n<li>Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance will be added advantage.If you are interested in taking up this exciting opportunity, please register and apply by attaching the below documentsI.Your current CV.<br \/>\nII.Your motivation letter, briefly explaining why you are interested in the position<\/p>\n<p>Please note that the deadline for receiving applications will be\u00a0<strong>31st January 2026<\/strong>.
