JOB OPPORTUNITIES<\/h1>\n

HelpAge Tanzania (HAT)<\/strong>\u00a0is a national non-governmental organisation registered in Tanzania Mainland under the Non-Governmental Organisations Act of 2022 and compliant in Zanzibar under the Business Entities Registration Act No. 12 of 2012.<\/p>\n

HAT envisions a society of equal opportunities where older people and persons with disabilities are empowered, protected, healthy, and able to live with dignity. HAT works in partnership with Older People\u2019s Forums, Organisations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs), government institutions, UN agencies, humanitarian and development partners across Tanzania Mainland and Zanzibar.<\/p>\n

HelpAge Tanzania is seeking to recruit\u00a0qualified, competent, and motivated candidate<\/strong>\u00a0to fill the following positions:<\/p>\n

1. Administration and Humanitarian Programme Manager \u2013 Gender and Inclusion (AHGIPM)<\/h1>\n

Duty Station:<\/strong>\u00a0Dar es Salaam, Tanzania\u00a0\u00a0Job Purpose:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Administration and Humanitarian, Gender and Inclusion Programme Manager (AHGIPM) provide strategic leadership for organisational administration and for the design, implementation, and quality assurance of humanitarian and development programmes, ensuring systematic integration of gender equality, disability inclusion, safeguarding, and disaster preparedness.<\/p>\n

The post holder serves as HAT\u2019s Gender and Disaster Preparedness Focal Person at senior level, responsible for strengthening gender-responsive, inclusive, and riskinformed preparedness, emergency response, recovery, and resilience programming across the organisation.<\/p>\n

The AHGIPM is a key member of the Senior Management Team (SMT) and contributes actively to organisational leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0 Health and Care Programme Manager (HCPM)<\/h1>\n

Duty Station:<\/strong>\u00a0Dar es Salaam, Tanzania\u00a0\u00a0Job Purpose:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Health and Care Programme Manager<\/strong>\u00a0provide strategic leadership, technical oversight, and overall management of HAT\u2019s Health and Care portfolio. The role ensures high-quality, inclusive, and person-centred health and care programming for older women and men and persons with disabilities, in line with HAT\u2019s policies, values, and strategic frameworks.<\/p>\n

The postholder is responsible for effective programme design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, learning, and compliance with donor requirements. The role is a key member of the\u00a0Senior Management Team (SMT)<\/strong>\u00a0in Tanzania and contributes to organisational strategy, advocacy, and resource mobilisation.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0 Integrated Care Nurse (ICN)<\/h1>\n

Duty Station:<\/strong>\u00a0Kigoma region, Tanzania\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Job Purpose:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Integrated Care Nurse (ICN)<\/strong>\u00a0is responsible for delivering person-centred, holistic, and integrated care services to older people, persons with disabilities, people with serious or chronic medical conditions, unaccompanied and separated children, and other marginalized People with Specific Needs (PSNs) in Nduta and Nyarugusu refugee camps.<\/p>\n

The role focuses on improving quality of life, functional ability, comfort, dignity, and psychosocial wellbeing, through preventive, curative, rehabilitative, supportive, and endof-life care, as appropriate, within a humanitarian context. The ICN works closely with health facilities, protection teams, community structures, and humanitarian partners to ensure coordinated and continuous care.<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0 Senior Protection and Inclusion Officer (SPIO)<\/h1>\n

Duty Station:<\/strong>\u00a0Kigoma Region, Tanzania\u00a0\u00a0Job Purpose:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Senior Protection and Inclusion Officer (SPIO)<\/strong>\u00a0is responsible for the design, planning, implementation, management, and administration of HelpAge Tanzania\u2019s inclusive humanitarian and protection programmes in refugee camps and host communities in Kigoma Region.<\/p>\n

The post holder will provide strategic leadership on protection and inclusion of People with Specific Needs (PSNs), particularly older people and persons with disabilities, and will actively engage national and international humanitarian actors to strengthen inclusive humanitarian responses. The SPIO will also build the capacity of national staff and local implementing partners to ensure sustainability of inclusive humanitarian programming.<\/p>\n

The SPIO is a key member of the Senior Management Team (SMT) and will participate actively in management, strategic planning, and organisational decision-making processes.<\/p>\n
