Are you ready to join a team that dreams as big as you do?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<b>Key Purpose<\/b>\u00a0of this role is to lead the shift-based team\/s in the execution of the production plan to the required performance criteria (QCDSM)<\/p>\n<p><b>Key Roles and Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>MAINTAIN A SAFE AND HEALTH WORKING ENVIRONMENT:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Comply with safety, health and environmental procedures and legislation<\/li>\n<li>Maintain safety and housekeeping standard<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>OPTIMISE PRODUCTION PERFORMANCE &amp; PROCESSES:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure Packaging Efficiencies attained {GLY, OSE, LEF and Others).<\/li>\n<li>Manages shift in accordance with VPO tools and principles<\/li>\n<li>Manages shift to achieve production plan within the allowed costs<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordinate scheduled maintenance and autonomous operations<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and co-ordinate production processes to within budget.<\/li>\n<li>Interpret and implement the production plan for shift.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>PERFORM ADMINISTRATION:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure application of admin systems and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Administer conditions of employment for team members.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to self and team development.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and control budgets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>INITIATE AND FACILITATE TEAM PROBLEM SOLVING AND DECISION MAKING:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Apply problem solving and decision-making techniques and principles.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate team problem solving.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>MANAGE HUMAN RESOURCES:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop employees.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure a healthy industrial relations climate.<\/li>\n<li>Manage and apply people policies and practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>OPTIMISE TEAM PERFORMANCE:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Facilitate effective team dynamics.<\/li>\n<li>Implement performance management and OPR processes<\/li>\n<li>Communicate effectively in the workplace.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Key Attributes and Competencies:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Be able to work shifts<\/li>\n<li>Ability to make decisions<\/li>\n<li>Be a team-player as well as an effective leader<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail, Computer literate<\/li>\n<li>Bias for action\/comfortable with initiating action<\/li>\n<li>Able to lead meetings and make presentations<\/li>\n<li>Analytical and systematic thinking ability, to enable effective problem solving<\/li>\n<li>Sound communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage people as well as ability to drive performance through the VPO tools<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal and communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to facilitate problem solving in a team forum<\/li>\n<li>High level of resilience and ability to operate in a high pressure environment<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage raw materials and FGS as per standard procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Minimum Requirements:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Education:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Min \u2013 Post Matric Tertiary Qualification e.g. National Diploma or equivalent in engineering<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Training:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Min \u2013 3 months on the job training<\/li>\n<li>Completion of a ABInbev packaging Traineeship (Desirable but not essential)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Experience:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Min \u2013 SAP (Where applicable) and Voyager Plant Optimisation (VPO);
