Chinese Desk (1 Position(s))<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"card-body\">\n<div id=\"dlVaanciesList_divJobLocation_1\" class=\"form-group row\">\n<div class=\"col-md-2\"><span id=\"dlVaanciesList_lblJobLocation_1\" class=\"font-weight-bold\">Job Location :<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"col-md-10\"><span id=\"dlVaanciesList_objlblJobLocation_1\">Head Office<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"dlVaanciesList_divRemark_1\" class=\"form-group row\">\n<div class=\"col-md-2\"><span id=\"dlVaanciesList_lblJobDiscription_1\" class=\"font-weight-bold\">Job Purpose:<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"col-md-10\"><span id=\"dlVaanciesList_objlblJobDiscription_1\">To develop, maintain and grow relationships with Asian Desk portfolio of corporate clients, while developing, improving, promoting, and selling NMBs products and services to ensure that NMBs current and future Corporate Customers find solutions for their financial needs.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"dlVaanciesList_divResponsblity_1\" class=\"form-group row\">\n<div class=\"col-md-2\"><span id=\"dlVaanciesList_lblResponsblity_1\" class=\"font-weight-bold\">Main Responsibilities:<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"col-md-10\">\n<ul class=\"p-l-17\">\n<li>Develop and maintain close relationships with NMBs current, prospective, and future corporate clients under Asian Desk through communication, client visits, and other relationship building mechanisms.<\/li>\n<li>Find solutions for customers\u2019 financial needs, including investment, borrowing and transactional banking solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Benchmark NMBs products and services with those of the competitors in the market and identify strategies on how best to sell to the customers.<\/li>\n<li>Proactively involve the Senior bank executives in engagement with key corporate clients.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor clients in the portfolio and keep records on the development of the clients\u2019 business.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with the Product team and other internal staff to deliver clear accounts plan that is based on understanding of client needs and provide appropriate solutions for clients across relevant products.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the development of prudently priced assets, cost effective long-term liability with reputable companies and organizations.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a high quality of the asset book, ensure excellent performance and maximum returns of the portfolio.<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to high professional standards and strive to provide quality services and competitive pricing to clients.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and develop a target pipeline and aggressively market for new profitable customers from the identified target sectors and exploit cross-selling opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Gather information that is needed to prepare and assess credit applications.<\/li>\n<li>Proactively manage client portfolio under Asian Desk in compliance with regulatory environment.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain high standard of operational controls including adherence to risk management and compliance guidelines.<\/li>\n<li>Embed NMB values and code of conduct by ensuring adherence to the highest standards of ethics with relevant policies, processes, and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Consult with staff in Risk, Credit, Legal and Compliance to ensure that the portfolio remains credit worthy and within the policies of the bank.<\/li>\n<li>Agree targets and take accountability for the overall achievement of performance objectives in corporate banking.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in various bank projects necessary for the bank\u2019s betterment in service provision to clients.<\/li>\n<li>Keep up to date with industry trends by following up on the developments in the market, networking, and reading market-specific newsletters, visiting websites, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"dlVaanciesList_divSkill_1\" class=\"form-group row\">\n<div class=\"col-md-2\"><span id=\"dlVaanciesList_lblSkill_1\" class=\"font-weight-bold\">Knowledge and Skills:<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"col-md-10\">\n<ul class=\"p-l-17\">\n<li>Business understanding of bank\u2019s customer base, market segments, products &amp; services, knowledge of government policies relating to banking, BOT regulations, bank policies &amp; procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Customer Relationship Management, Building Positive Working Relationships, Coaching, Communication, Building a Successful Team, Facilitating Change, Decision Making, Developing Others, Leading through Vision &amp; Values, Formal Presentation, Planning &amp; Organizing.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of Chinese Mandarin is a must and any other Asian language will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Good experience of various banking solutions required by corporate clients.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"dlVaanciesList_divQualification_1\" class=\"form-group row\">\n<div class=\"col-md-2\"><span id=\"dlVaanciesList_lblQualification_1\" class=\"font-weight-bold\">Qualifications and Experience:<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"col-md-10\">\n<ul class=\"p-l-17\">\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in economics, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing Statistics, Research or related fields.<\/li>\n<li>Relevant certification(s) subject to the specific role requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Master\u2019s degree in business studies is an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Postgraduate education in Banking and\/or Banking certification(s) is an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of 4 years\u2019 experience in Relationship Management of Large Corporates\/Emerging Corporates\/SMEs\/Branch Management\/Business Centre management.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in credit assessment and management.<i>NMB Bank Plc is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
