\/>\nIfakara Health Institute is seeking qualified ten (10) Field Interviewers who will be located in Dar es Salaam to support field-based data collection, quality assurance, and documentation processes under the supervision of senior researchers and consultants.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibility:<\/strong><br \/>\nResponsibilities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Field Interviewer will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, and validating both quantitative and qualitative data according to established study protocols.<\/li>\n<li>They will ensure that data collection processes are of high quality, ethical, and adhere to IHI and national research standards.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in training sessions on study tools, electronic data collection (CAPI), and research ethics.<\/li>\n<li>Administer structured questionnaires to households, caregivers, and service providers.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct direct observations, data verification, and checks at health, community, and ECD centers.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of data collected using tablets or mobile devices.<\/li>\n<li>Support quality control checks, including revisits, validation, and spot checks.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with district and regional officials to coordinate field logistics and permissions.<\/li>\n<li>Report daily progress, field challenges, and data quality issues to the Field Coordinator.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure data confidentiality and adhere to all ethical procedures approved by NIMR and IHI-IRB.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skill :<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Desired Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proficiency in using data collection software (e.g., SurveyCTO, KoboToolbox, ODK, or CSPro).<\/li>\n<li>Skills in Quantitative data management (collection and handling) and record keeping<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with ethical principles of human subjects\u2019 research and confidentiality<\/li>\n<li>Capable of building and sustaining relationships with staff at all levels<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to work in rural settings and under minimal supervision<\/li>\n<li>Good skills in problem solving, teamwork.<\/li>\n<li>Professional attitude with highest level of integrity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Essential Qualification<br \/>\nCertificate in Sociology or Social Work or Science subjects, or any other related qualification from a recognized Institutions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience :<\/strong><br \/>\nPrefered Experience<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 3 years\u2019 experience in field data collection or research implementation (preferably in health, nutrition, or ECD projects).<\/li>\n<li>Preferred Language Skill :<\/li>\n<li>Prefered Language<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Fluent in both English
