{"id":449,"date":"2025-12-03T19:43:10","date_gmt":"2025-12-03T19:43:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mwanampotevu.co.tz\/?p=449"},"modified":"2025-12-03T19:43:10","modified_gmt":"2025-12-03T19:43:10","slug":"junior-finance-admin-assistant-at-eacop","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mwanampotevu.co.tz\/index.php\/2025\/12\/03\/junior-finance-admin-assistant-at-eacop\/","title":{"rendered":"Junior Finance &#038; Admin Assistant at EACOP"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 dir=\"auto\">Junior Finance &amp; Admin Assistant \u2013 Ekium Tanzania Ltd (EACOP Project)<\/h3>\n<h4 dir=\"auto\">Job Reference<\/h4>\n<p dir=\"auto\">1184-ADVT-SNEF-TZ-TEL \u2013 Recruitment of a Junior Finance &amp; Admin Assistant<\/p>\n<h4 dir=\"auto\">Employer<\/h4>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Ekium Tanzania Ltd As the EITS contractor (Electrical Instrumentation and Telecommunications Systems) for the EACOP project<\/p>\n<h4 dir=\"auto\">Position<\/h4>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Junior Finance &amp; Admin Assistant<\/p>\n<h4 dir=\"auto\">Main Duties and Responsibilities<\/h4>\n<ul dir=\"auto\">\n<li>Processing all Purchase Requisitions (PRs) for Tanzania &amp; Uganda and follow-up for approvals<\/li>\n<li>Processing all Purchase Orders (POs) for Uganda and Tanzania suppliers<\/li>\n<li>Processing all payments for Uganda and Tanzania, from preparation of payment vouchers, attaching relevant documents and capture the payments into the internet banking system and prepare the payment list for approval<\/li>\n<li>Assist the payment signatories by providing proper clarification for the payments when required and make a follow-up for the pending approvals<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating all suppliers\u2019 communications like sending POs, collecting invoices and providing constant feedback to suppliers concerning their payments, including sending out proof of payments<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining an organized and comfortable office environment, ordering office supplies, and maintain proper inventory level<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining a digital record of all financial transactions, documents, and supplier information<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and organise Staff travels \u2013 both local and international<\/li>\n<li>Support project teams with financial and administrative tasks<\/li>\n<li>Any other duty as may be assigned by a supervisor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><em>The list is not exhaustive, and the responsibilities will evolve time and again.<\/em><\/p>\n<h4 dir=\"auto\">Minimum Requirements<\/h4>\n<ul dir=\"auto\">\n<li>A bachelor\u2019s degree in finance, business administration, or a similar field<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of 2 years\u2019 experience working as a financial admin assistant<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of MS Office such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook is a must<\/li>\n<li>Data entry and reconciliation skills is essential for this position<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 dir=\"auto\">How to Apply<\/h4>\n<p dir=\"auto\">All applications should be sent by email to \u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:eacop.supplier@ekium.eu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">eacop.supplier@ekium.eu<\/a><\/strong> with the job reference number as the subject on or before\u00a0<strong>19th December 2025, 5pm East African Time (EAT)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews.
