Known for its expertise across sectors, the NGO is committed to advancing social,\u00a0 economic, and health outcomes for children, youth, and women. Through high-quality research,\u00a0 RTI-Tanzania delivers real, evidence-based solutions that promote sustainable and\u00a0 transformative change to individuals and communities.<\/p>\n<p>RTI-Tanzania is embarking on the second phase of the, \u201c<b>CARING SCHOOLS PROJECT\u201d,\u00a0<\/b>which\u00a0 will collect data to validate measurements on how school environments influence youth mental\u00a0 health trajectories in Mwanza, Tanzania. The organisation has also secured funding for a new\u00a0 project, \u201c<b>Parenting for Early Years Project<\/b>\u201d, which focuses on Parenting for children aged 0\u20133\u00a0 years.<\/p>\n<p>To ensure the successful implementation of these research initiatives, RTI-Tanzania invites\u00a0 qualified and highly motivated individuals to apply for the following positions:<\/p>\n<p><b>HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER\u00a0(1 Post)\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>REPORTING TO:\u00a0<\/b>Executive Director<\/p>\n<p><b>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Payroll administration, including calculations, pay slips, tax documentation, and leave\u00a0 management.<\/li>\n<li>Implementation of RTI-Tanzania\u2019s HR policies, systems, and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Development and implementation of specific HR processes.<\/li>\n<li>Support the project team in the communication and implementation of policies.<\/li>\n<li>Manage recruitment and contracting processes.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the onboarding and offboarding of staff.<\/li>\n<li>Support the project team with performance management and labour relations.<\/li>\n<li>Report writing skills and ensure compliance with different country laws and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Other organisation administrative duties.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>QUALIFICATION AND COMPETENCE:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in human resource management, social sciences, or equivalent\u00a0 disciplines from reputable higher learning institutions.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 3 years of work experience in Human Resources Management.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in payroll administration and organisational management is a necessity.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated strategic skills in developing and implementing HR strategies in small and\u00a0 medium-sized organisations.<\/li>\n<li>A solid understanding of Tanzanian labour laws, employment standards, and workplace\u00a0 regulations, including equal employment opportunity.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written, oral communication skills interpersonal, and presentation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Proven proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet use; ability to work\u00a0 effectively in an online environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>TERMS OF SERVICE:\u00a0<\/b>One-year contract with the possibility of renewal based on performance\u00a0 and funding availability.<\/p>\n<p><b>TERMS OF SERVICE:\u00a0<\/b>Six-month contract with the possibility of renewal based on performance\u00a0 and funding availability.<\/p>\n<p><b>DUTY STATION:\u00a0<\/b>The successful candidate will report to the RTI-Tanzania offices in Mwanza but\u00a0 will spend their time in the data collection sites.<\/p>\n<p><b>NOTE<\/b>: RTI-Tanzania does not require applicants to make any payments at any stage of the\u00a0 recruitment and selection process and has not engaged any agents for recruitment purposes.\u00a0 While RTI-Tanzania may utilize various job platforms to reach a wider audience, all open positions\u00a0 are posted on our website\u2019s Vacancies page and our official LinkedIn account.
