communications to support the effective adoption of the performance management process, explaining the rationale and what is required from managers and employees.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"ux4ddt\" data-start=\"1470\" data-end=\"1647\">Support individuals and managers in developing team and individual goals that are relevant to their departments and aligned with business priorities and customer requirements.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1eaqsxi\" data-start=\"1648\" data-end=\"1723\">Coach managers to build strong individual and team performance regularly.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1e5lee5\" data-start=\"1724\" data-end=\"1869\">Ensure a common understanding and consistent application of the rating scale, and build managers\u2019 capability and confidence in using the scale.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"wgm2mq\" data-start=\"1870\" data-end=\"1997\">Coach managers to conduct honest performance conversations during one-on-one meetings, mid-year reviews and year-end reviews.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"3xu9dp\" data-start=\"1998\" data-end=\"2142\">Support managers in making appropriate performance-rating decisions and effectively communicating the according to standards. This involves supporting performance management processes to establish the need state and thereafter supporting the competence-development process and application of common tools to track competence growth in each business unit.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"ip8vng\" data-start=\"3187\" data-end=\"3286\">Provide custody services for all employee training data and manage operational costs and quality.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"iqyff\" data-start=\"3287\" data-end=\"3412\">Work with managers and staff to ensure they understand the importance of learning and development and how it supports them.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1s6yz37\" data-start=\"3413\" data-end=\"3494\">Coach managers on providing feedback and creating development plans with staff.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"gmu1qt\" data-start=\"3495\" data-end=\"3702\">Ensure the development and execution of the learning and development strategy, including:\n<ul data-start=\"3589\" data-end=\"4374\">Manage and facilitate potential conflict situations to achieve legal and ethical consensus.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1o1rcbd\" data-start=\"4375\" data-end=\"4501\">Manage the resolution of employee-relations issues within GALCO Transport, with support from the Senior HR Business Partner.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"swohbj\" data-start=\"4502\" data-end=\"4591\">Support and coach managers in understanding and addressing industrial-relations issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"kfvcop\" data-start=\"4593\" data-end=\"4616\">Employee engagement<\/h3>\n<ul opportunities, including one-on-one meetings and career discussions, to promote strong engagement.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"ofjdo\" data-start=\"4924\" data-end=\"4957\">Act as the employees\u2019 advocate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"11ktd8y\" data-start=\"4959\" data-end=\"4991\">Qualifications and experience<\/h2>\n<ul data-start=\"4993\" data-end=\"5211\">\n<li data-section-id=\"1qelizv\" data-start=\"4993\" data-end=\"5061\">Degree in Business, Human Resources Management or Social Sciences.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1ogmwbl\" data-start=\"5062\" data-end=\"5113\">Five years of experience in a generalist HR role.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"8akbx0\" data-start=\"5114\" data-end=\"5211\">Knowledge of local labour legislation and experience in
