Currently, it is seeking Environmental Laboratory Staff who are self-motivated, committed, and results-driven to work with the company in the Environmental Laboratory under the Waste and Environmental Subsidiary.<\/p>\n<p>Laboratory Analyst and Quality Control Officer \/ Supervisor (1 Position)<\/p>\n<p>Location: TMHS Kisarawe Plant<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reports to:<\/strong>\u00a0WNE Manager<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sample Testing:\u00a0Perform physical, chemical, or microbiological analyses of Air, water, Soil etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Instrument Calibration:\u00a0Operate, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipments<\/li>\n<li>Data Analysis:\u00a0Record and analyze test results, ensuring accuracy and precision in reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Method Development:\u00a0Assist with analytical method validation and troubleshooting.<\/li>\n<li>Documentation:\u00a0Maintain meticulous records of experiments, data, and observations in compliance with GLP (Good Laboratory Practices)<\/li>\n<li>Compliance &amp; Standards: Ensure all processes conform to industry, regulatory, and compliance standards for ISO 17025, TBS, NEMC, TMDA, GCLA, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>SOP Development:\u00a0Write, review, and update laboratory\u00a0Standard Operating Procedures\u00a0(SOPs) and safety protocols.<\/li>\n<li>Non-Conformance Investigation:\u00a0Identify quality gaps, investigate root causes of deviations, and implement corrective\/preventative actions.<\/li>\n<li>Auditing:\u00a0Conduct internal audits and monitor laboratory processes to ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols.<\/li>\n<li>Training &amp; Reporting:\u00a0Train staff on quality procedures and prepare detailed reports for management regarding quality standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills and Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Education:\u00a0At least a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Laboratory Science and Technology or Chemistry, Biology, or related fields from a recognized University or College, alongside proficiency in\u00a0laboratory techniques.<\/li>\n<li>Experience:\u00a0Previous experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in QC or QA, is highly desirable (often 1-5+ years).<\/li>\n<li>Certifications: Certifications in quality control are an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), ISO 17025, TBS, GCLA, TMDA, as well as NEMC standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Analytical Techniques: Proficiency in using laboratory equipment such as Gas Chromatography (GC), mass spectrometry, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Data Analysis:\u00a0Ability to interpret data, perform statistical process control, and use related software tools.<\/li>\n<li>Documentation:\u00a0Experience in maintaining detailed records within a Quality Management System (QMS).<\/li>\n<li>System Knowledge:\u00a0Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).<\/li>\n<li>Attention to Detail:\u00a0Meticulous approach to testing and recording data to ensure accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>Problem-Solving:\u00a0Ability to troubleshoot equipment, investigate OOS (Out of Specification) results, and conduct root cause analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Communication:\u00a0Strong verbal and written skills for reporting findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Teamwork and Independence:\u00a0Capability to work collaboratively or independently, often in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Send your
