Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and organised clinical coordinator to support and oversee the delivery of high-quality clinical services at Kafika House. The Clinical Coordinator will manage day-to-day clinical operations, support clinical teams, strengthen communication across departments, and help ensure every child receives safe, efficient, and compassionate care throughout their treatment journey.
Location: Arusha – Ngaramtoni
Reporting To: Clinical Services Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily clinical activities, including patient admissions, discharges, and internal and external clinics.
- Develop and manage clinical team timetables, duty rosters, and workflow plans.
- Work closely with the Facility Coordinator and interdisciplinary team to deliver holistic, high-quality clinical care.
- Facilitate efficient access to surgical services by maintaining strong partnerships with hospitals and clinical providers.
- Support adherence to clinical SOPs, standards, and Kafika House care pathways.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Records system in collaboration with the Clinical Services Manager.
- Manage clinical inventory, stock levels, and procurement needs while maintaining quality and budget standards.
- Host and support clinical visitors, volunteers, and students to ensure a productive and positive learning experience.
- Represent the clinical team by ensuring clear communication, timely reporting, and feedback to the Clinical Services Manager.
- Foster a professional, collaborative clinical culture that reflects our mission, values, and commitment to high-quality care.
- Carry out any other duties assigned by the Clinical Services Manager.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a clinical field, health administration, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience, including supervisory or administrative responsibilities.
- Experience in a healthcare setting is strongly preferred.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills; high computer literacy.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse clinical and non-clinical teams.
