Scholarships to attend 26th International AIDS Conference 2026 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil & Virtually
Deadline: January 27, 2026
If you are at least 18 years old on 26 July 2026 and working, volunteering or studying in the area of HIV, you are welcome to apply for a scholarship for AIDS 2026. AIDS 2026, the 26th International AIDS Conference, taking place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and virtually, comes at a crucial time for the HIV response. In the face of an unprecedented funding crisis and major cutbacks to HIV programmes, the world’s largest conference on HIV and AIDS will bring together people living with HIV, researchers, policy makers, healthcare professionals, funders, media and communities – to rethink, rebuild and rise.
The programme supports individuals who contribute to the conference programme, as well as applicants who can demonstrate that they will transfer the skills and knowledge acquired at the conference to the work they undertake in their own organizations and communities.
