Background
Viva con Agua de Sankt Pauli e.V. (VcA) is a Germany-based NGO and part of the international Viva con Agua Family, a network committed to increasing access to clean water and sanitation for all. Our vision: ALL IN FOR WATER.
VcA, in partnership with Climate Smart Solutions (CSS), is implementing a WASH project in selected schools of Mbulu and Babati Districts, Tanzania, providing safe drinking water, improved sanitation, and hygiene facilities, complemented by the UL4C programme using arts, music, and sports for lasting behavioural change.
VcA invites offers from eligible construction companies registered in Tanzania.
Scope of work
Lot 1 (TZA2601)
Toilet blocks (boys & girls) in Soheda Secondary School and Endamilay Primary School, Mbulu District.
Lot 2 (TZA2501)
Toilet blocks (boys & girls) in Basnet Primary School and Long Primary School, Babati District.

Eligible Tanzanian companies may request bid documents via email to procurement@vivaconagua.org by 31 May 2026.
The email subject MUST read:

Submission requirements
Bidders must submit the following with their offers:
- Certificate of Registration and Powers of Attorney
- Company profile with record of similar contracts
- Current Trading Licence
- Original Tax Clearance Certificate addressed to Viva con Agua
- Company bank account details & certified bank statement
- Certified Audited Financial Reports for 2022, 2023 and 2024
- Nominated Contract Manager (with Powers of Attorney)
- Company name, physical address, and telephone contacts
- Bank Reference Letter addressed to Viva con Agua de Sankt Pauli e.V.
Offer presentation & submission
- Offers submitted ONLY by email to: procurement@vivaconagua.org
- Submit as two PDF files:
- Technical Proposal
- Financial Offer
- Email subject MUST state: VCA/TZA/2026-02-<Name of Company>
- Deadline: Sunday, 07 June 2026 at 11:00 PM EAT – late bids rejected.
- Mandatory pre-bid site inspection required; certificate signed/stamped by Headteacher or representative.
- Bids not conforming to specifications shall not be accepted.
