Introduction Benki ya Watu wa Zanzibar Limited (PBZ) is a commercial bank fully owned (100%) by the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar. The bank continues to provide excellent financial services to its customers in Zanzibar and Mainland Tanzania. In its efforts to strengthen service delivery and increase the sales of its products, PBZ invites applications from energetic, creative, and persuasive young Tanzanians to join the bank in the Sales (Mauzo) positions within the Marketing Department.
These positions are on a fixed-term contract basis.
Position
- Afisa Mauzo (Sales Officer) – 24 Positions
Work Locations The positions will be based at various PBZ branches and service centers in Mainland Tanzania as follows:
- Dar es Salaam – 6 positions
- Mtwara – 3 positions
- Dodoma – 3 positions
- Mbeya – 3 positions
- Mwanza – 3 positions
- Arusha – 3 positions
- Morogoro – 3 positions
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell bank products and services to new and existing customers.
- Encourage customers to open accounts and utilize PBZ banking products.
- Provide accurate information to customers about PBZ services and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Participate in all sales and marketing activities.
- Achieve set sales targets and submit timely performance reports.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Tanzanian citizen.
- Must be 35 years of age or below.
- Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Accounting, Economics, Banking, Insurance, International Relations, or any related field.
- Must have a CV and Birth Certificate.
- Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be hardworking, persuasive, and result-oriented.
- Must be ready to work independently in a challenging environment.
- Must have original academic certificates.
- Must not be a government employee.

- Creative and able to solve work-related challenges.
- Self-motivated with a strong passion for sales and customer service.
- Disciplined, responsible, and trustworthy.
